Submersible Pumps 60 Hz

bs 60 Hz

Applicability

Britefil submersible pumps are designed for a wide range of applications within water supply and liquid transfer such as groundwater supply for single-family houses or waterworks, irrigation systems for horticulture or agriculture, groundwater lowering or pressure boosting as well as various industrial applications.

Pumped Liquids

Thin, clean, non-aggressive liquids without solid particles or fibers.

Operating Conditions

Flow rate Q: 0.1m3/h to 330m3/h

Head H: 550m (bigger heads on request)

Liquid temperature:

60 Hz motor temp

When operating at higher temperatures, please contact Britefil or an authorized dealer.

Pump

All pump parts are made of stainless steel and the pump has water-lubricated rubber bearings. The discharge chamber has internal pipe thread or flange. A non-return valve is built into the top of the pump.

The pump body is built up the stages. The impellers are splined to the pump shaft or secured with split cones. The intermediate chamber has a built-in sand shield and guide vane, segmented with double-curved blades in z profile.

The suction interconnector is fitted with a strainer. Straps keep together the discharge chamber, intermediate chambers and suction interconnector to ensure perfect sealing and to absorb the torque.

Materials BF range

Britefil pumps are designed entirely in stainless steel AISI 304 L, AISI 316 L and AISI 904 L, applying the best and safest production techniques. The success of our pumps comes from the methodology imposed in the various stages of production. The efficiency of the products depends on the working conditions, the thickness and the quality of the applied raw material.

Performance Curves

The guidelines below apply to the following performance curves:

  • Curve tolerances according to ISO 2548.
  • The performance curve applies to BRITEFIL pumps fitted with motors running at the following speeds in 60 Hz: 4”motors – 3440 rpm/min.
  • The measurements were made whit airless water at a temperature of 20ºC the curves apply to cinematic viscosity of 1mm2/s.
  • When pumping liquids with a density higher than that of water, motor with correspondingly higher outputs must be used.
  • The bold curves indicate the recommended performance range. The performance curves are inclusive of valve loss and inlet loss.
